This website, www.idolssa.net, is a South African website that was first created as a fan website of the singing show, Idols South Africa.
The was created by three friends who are very big fans of Idols South Africa since its inaugural season in March 2002.
Despite the website being initially founded in 2002 to cover Idols South Africa, it has expanded to cover broader entertainment and reality TV shows like the popular Big Brother Mzansi, Big Brother Naija, and Australian Idol.
The site also covers local South African news, sports like football and rugby. All this was done to stabilize its traffic after the official Idols SA TV series was cancelled in 2023. Since making this decision, the website has grown bigger and popular in South Africa.
