Chipi van der Merwe was a South African actor and advertising executive, famously remembered as the husband of Afrikaans singer Mynie Grové.

Chipi was best known for his role as Kortgiel Mostert in the popular Afrikaans drama series Arende (1989) and worked prominently as an advertising agency art director.
